In this one-year program you’ll learn career-enhancing financial knowledge and acquire a strong foundation in real-world investment analysis and portfolio management skills. The financial industry is seeing a lot of hiring activity across all sectors, with an expected 23,300 job openings in B.C. between 2015 and 2025,* and professionals who have the financial skills to support business growth are in high demand. Financial analysts are especially in demand as companies look to these experts to help identify opportunities for growth. Graduates of the Finance Post-Baccalaureate Diploma program are qualified to write the Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) Level 1 exam, the first step to becoming a Chartered Financial Analyst – one of the most globally-recognized professional finance qualifications. As a CFA, you’ll stand out to employers and have instant credibility. Customized Two-Year Post-Degree Programs: If you want to complete two years of study and diversify your learning and experience, we offer post-degree programs consisting of two, one-year post-degree diplomas. Apply for both programs at the same time. You’ll graduate with two credentials and a solid combination of experience and skills. Completion of two different one-year Post-Degree Diploma programs will also allow you to apply for a three-year Post-Graduate Work Permit (PGWP).
